A range of goods that regularly changes, or spikes in workload that are hard to calculate – there are many reasons why, time and again, being able to react to changed packaging requirements quickly is essential. Here, short-notice availability plays a decisive role. This cannot always be provided by internal warehousing since, quite simply, there often is not enough space to do so. Here Nordpack provides contract logistics, with the offer to use the Nordpack warehouse as a commission warehouse. In coordination with our customers, we store the specific product range in our warehouses for an agreed time period and, in so doing, guarantee delivery within, e.g. 24 or 48 hours. The individual products, their respective quantities and the agreed upon delivery deadlines are stipulated in the contract.
For you as a customer, the essential benefit is found in planning and pricing security: you benefit from prices offered for large quantities, despite small partial deliveries, save storage space for, e.g. c-category items and, despite this, you can rest assured that we, as your reliable supplier, can serve you in the event of a short-notice change in the on-site volume needs.
